Saint Athanasius Anglican Church worships each Sunday at 10:45 A.M. (except as noted below in Special Scheduled Services). Our worship service is taken from the American 1928 Book of Common Prayer and consists of Morning Prayer (with homily) and Holy Eucharist. See the FAQ page for additional information on our worship if you are unfamiliar with Prayer Book worship. It’s easy – everyone is literally on the same page throughout the service. You can’t get lost, and you’re welcome to quietly observe if you wish.
Our meeting space is named The Francesca Chapel. It was the original home of St. Paul Episcopal Church, built in 1887. Anglican worship has taken place in this chapel every Sunday since the building was opened for the worship of the Christian God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Men’s Prayer Meeting
On most Wednesday evenings, the men of the parish meet in the parish hall (adjacent to the Chapel) at 7:00 P.M. for Evening Prayer.
Occasional Services and Meetings
Worship and fellowship meetings are scheduled as needed. These include everything from an ordination to ministry to a parish luncheon after Sunday worship. During the last three Wednesdays in Advent (the weeks preceding Christmas), we observe a special evening service called Compline, a time of quiet music and quiet prayers – our “push-back” against the hurly-burly of the worldly commercial season. Watch for dates and times in Special Scheduled Services below.
